Simon has been the owner and Chairman of Blackpool Football Club since 2019, overseeing a period of renewed stability for the club. He views himself as a custodian, committed to the club’s long‑term success and its deep connection to the local community.

While living in Hong Kong, Simon and Segantii began sponsoring the Hong Kong University Sandy Bay Rugby Club, a family‑focused community club that welcomes players of all ages and backgrounds to learn and grow through rugby.

Simon has also been a proud personal supporter of The British Olympic Association (Team GB) since 2023, contributing to the organisation’s ongoing efforts to champion excellence and ambition in British sport.

He expanded his sporting interests in 2023 by founding TBT Racing, which has already enjoyed notable early success, including Noble Champion’s Group 3 win at Royal Ascot in 2025.

Blackpool Football Club

Since purchasing Blackpool Football Club in 2019, Simon has overseen promotion to the Championship, invested in the club’s academy and women’s teams, and remains committed to its long-term success and community role.

TBT Racing

TBT Racing, founded by Simon in honour of his father, is a rapidly growing international racing and breeding operation that has already achieved Royal Ascot success and is targeting further top-level victories.
