Simon has a long‑standing commitment to giving back, honouring those who helped him along the way, and creating opportunities for others to realise their own ambitions.
Health and Community
Simon is a longstanding supporter of LAP Research, which funds groundbreaking research into HPB disease affecting the liver, pancreas, gallbladder and biliary system. In 2025, Simon donated his Royal Ascot winnings to help advance its work.
Simon has also been a major donor for many years to Mind, the mental health charity operating across England and Wales.
In addition, Segantii has supported the British Red Cross, contributing to its appeals for Ukraine and the Türkiye–Syria earthquake, as well as to the fund established to support victims of the tragic Manchester bombing on 22 May 2017.
Since 2023, Simon has personally contributed to the British Olympic Association where Team GB seeks to develop and sustain a national spirit through the power of Olympic sport.
Young People and Education
Simon has made significant contributions to educational institutions in Oxford, including St Edward’s School, which is developing its Fields of Dreams project for a new sports centre and facilities that will be open to both pupils and the wider community.
He has similarly supported the Dragon School, where his contribution helped fund a new recital hall that opened in 2024 and was named Sadler Hall in recognition of his generosity.
Simon has also funded bursaries at both schools to help widen access to education, an area in which he is particularly passionate.
